[:ja]「オーガニック」と聞いて、ピンとくる人は、どれくらいいるんでしょ？
なんでも英語をカタカナにするだけで済ませてしまう日本の風潮は、正しい意味を知らないままに、語感やイメージだけで理解したつもりになっている人を増やしているように思う。
まあ、広告業界の立場では、その方が何かと便利なんでしょうけれど。
私自身も、無意識のうちに、わかった風なつもりで使っている言葉があるし、間違って認識している言葉もあるはず。
メルマガやコメントを書く時は、できるだけ誤解をうまずに伝えたいと思っている。だから、少しでも疑問を感じる言葉は必ず調べて、私自身が納得してから使うように注意しているつもり。
さて、もう随分前、2000年前後くらいからだろうか？「オーガニック」という言葉を聞くようになった（ロハスなんてのもあったね）が、私自身は、オーガニックが何を指すのか、未だ、すとんと腑に落ちたという感じがしない。

organic=有機の（Google翻訳）となっている。
日本でオーガニックというと、イコール無農薬・有機栽培の意味で使われているようだが、organicの語源はoriginなのだそうだ。
origin=原点、起源など（Google翻訳）
語源の「origin」の意味から考えると、「オーガニック」は、単に「無農薬・有機栽培」というだけでなく、「原点回帰」や「本質」、「本物」という意味合いを含むと考えると理解しやすくなるのだろうか？と思う。
本物の野菜を追求すると、無農薬・有機栽培になった。これなら私も理解できる。
ストイックに農薬や化学薬品はダメ、だからオーガニックが良い。な〜んて言われても、ピンとこなかったのかもしれないな。
ここ数年は、オーガニック・コスメも続々上陸しているようだ。
