[:ja]「手芸」と聞いて、私がイメージするのは、編み物や刺繍だけど、Wikipediaによると、個人的に行う裁縫、刺繍、編み物などの創作活動を指すのだそうだ。
裁縫、刺繍、編み物、彫金、レザークラフト、ビーズクラフト、デコクラフト、プリザーブドフラワー等々。ネイルアートも手芸の一種らしい。

最近、2万円のワンピースを300円なんて超バーゲン価格で買うことがあるが、ウエストやスカートの長さは手直しが必要。
この価格でお直しに出すのもなんだかなと思うし、ワンシーズン着られれば十分なので、自分でカットして手芸用ボンドで裾上げしたり。これが結構、楽しい！
そう言えば、学生時代はスカートやトランクスを作ったりしたことを思い出した！
洋裁の基礎も何にも知らないけれど、ミシンでダダダッとぬいあげる感じ。
生地の柄によっては、少々、縫い目が歪んでいてもわからないしねぇ〜。
近年、気に入るスカートに全く出会えない。問題は生地とスカート丈だけど、オーダーは高くつきすぎるし。
ラップスカートなら、不器用な私でも作れるかなぁ？と、ミシン教室に通うことに。
周囲からは無謀だと言われているが、夏向けにラップスカートと簡易なワンピースくらい作れるようなればいいなぁ〜。
ノースリーブで、Vネックなら、ほぼ直線縫いでできるだろうか？？？
それで知ったのだけど、最近、手作りのトートバッグが流行っているんだって！
トートバッグのキットがあって、それをミシンがけするらしい。
バッグのキットを販売しているお店の店員さんは、最近、洋裁を始めたそうだ。彼女は背が低くてスカートが長すぎるから。
ほら、やっぱり！
スカート丈って、背の高さによるし、似合う丈も、好みも人それぞれなのに、流行りもんばかりじゃねぇ。
