[:ja]今年ほど、お正月に、非日常を感じられなかった年はなかったような・・・。
このまま、「お正月」がハレの日でなくなるじゃないかと心配になる。
実家の周りも、他所でも、門松や注連縄をしているお家やビルが本当に少なかったし、晴れ着の女性は、数人にしか目にしていない。
「ハレ」は、時間論をともなう日本人の伝統的な世界観のひとつで、、ハレ（晴れ、霽れ）は儀礼や祭、年中行事などの「非日常」を表す。
お正月は「ハレの日」で、「晴れ着」は、折り目・節目の儀礼で着用する衣服。
日常と非日常があることで、単調になりがちな生活にメリハリをつける。

昔は、家の中やご近所では「普段着」、仕事のための「仕事着」、ちょっと改まった日の「よそ行き」の使い分けがかなりはっきりしていた。
ご近所の人でも着ているもので察しがつき、「今日はお出かけ？」なんて言われるほど、わかりやすかった（笑）。
TPOもかなり気を使って、服選びをしていたが、母の世代とは感覚も異なるので、先輩にたずねたり、独自のファッションセンスで、既成概念を打ち破ってくれる友達を見て、真似たりもした。
結局のところ、自分も周りも気持ちよくいられるなら何を着ても自由なのだが、時折、その日、その場のための装いをすることで気持ちが改まったり、非日常が生まれて、生活にメリハリがつく。
そういう意味でも「ハレの日」は、大切にしたい。
今年、「楽だから」「着慣れているから」の洋服選びから、気分を変える洋服選びにシフトしたいと思う。
